Saphir Médaille d'Or Lotion, 125ml.

We advise to use Saphir Lotion as a first step in the treatment of your smooth leather shoes, when you're not giving them a deep cleaning such as with Renomat. This lotion, including ingredients such as bees wax and ultra nourishing mink oil, cleans, nourishes and protects all of your leather products. Apply by using a cotton cloth and let dry until the Lotion looks dry and mat. Brush with a horsehair brush and a soft shine will appear on your shoes. Continue your treatment by using Saphir Pommadier, Pate de Luxe and Mirror Gloss.

The lotion is essentially a light-version of the Saphir Renovateur and gives a soft shine. Having this characteristics, it's next to treating shoes, perfect for nourishing leather bags, jackets, but also larger leather items such as furniture and car interior.

Lotion or Renovateur?
Don't know which to pick? We often explain the difference between the two by explaining how you would use them. Saphir Lotion is a great multipurpose cleaner and conditioner for everyday use. The Lotion is less rich in oils and waxes and therefore you can use it more often than Saphir Renovateur. Lotion is also better suited to treat larger surfaces of leather than Renovateur is. So, beside shoes Saphir Médaille d'Or Lotion is also great for treating furniture, car interiors, leather bags and leather jackets. Renovateur on the other hand is richer in nourishing ingrediënts than Lotion. You want to use Renovateur once a week at a maximum to prevent oversaturating the leather with oils. Are you looking for the best conditioning for your shoes? Then pick Renovateur. If you are looking for a more practical multipurpose conditioner then pick Lotion.

Also great at: Gentle weekly cleaning

⦿ Lotion is less rich/greasy than Renovateur and therefore a more universal leather conditioner suitable for both leather shoes, as well as bags and furniture.
⦿ Thanks to its universal formulation, lotion can also be used as a final product for a quick polish or to treat your leather bags.
⦿ Conditions the leather and prepares it to be polished with Saphir Pommadier shoe cream and Saphir Pate de Luxe shoe wax.
⦿ In addition to nourishment, lotion also provides mild cleaning of the leather. Ideal to start your shoe polishing session.

⦿ Although lotion can be used on its own, we still recommend using a follow-up product containing wax (such as Pommadier shoe cream) to further make the leather water repellent.

How to use

Saphir's Lotion is the less thick variant of Saphir's Renovateur. Although this lotion is originally used to clean and shine shoes, it's also used for treating large leather surfaces like furniture.

To treat your shoes with Lotion you need:
• Saphir Médaille d'Or Lotion
• Shine Brush
• Applicator cloth

1. Apply the shoe cream using either an applicator brush or applicator cloth. (As an alternative for the applicator cloth you can use an old

t-shirt. As long as it's 100% cotton). Using small rotational motions, massage the cream into the leather. (TIP. Start with a small amount of cream polish. You don't need much)

2. Let the cream soak into the leather for 5 minutes

3. To remove excess cream give your shoes a quick brushing using the shine brush

4. Shine your shoes using the applicator cloth
